Good Morning!

I hope this message finds all of you enjoying a great start to your summer. We are busy preparing for the return to school in Fall. 

An important piece of planning for the fall is knowing how all of our students/parents/guardians are feeling after the close of schools and distant learning at the end of this past school year. 

We ask that all parents and guardians please take 5 minutes out of your time to give us some very valuable information as we make important decisions about your student’s education. We want to ensure we are hearing everyone’s concerns, suggestions, and questions. Our goal is to communicate with everyone, and ensure all are comfortable with their individual education plan heading into the fall. You will be able to find a survey under quick links on our website www.ucasd.org. 

The last question on the parent/guardian survey will be directed just for families that will have a student in 6th through 12th grade in 2020-2021. That question deals directly with scheduling. 

There will also be a student survey that is emailed to every student’s UCASD account today as well as we want to hear from our student body as well. 

We know there are many questions and even anxiety about returning in 2020-2021. Our priorities are simple: Provide the safest and best education possible to your students. 

We want you to know we will be communicated in the next couple weeks exactly what education is going to look like in the fall. We will also have options for those families that would feel more comfortable learning online. We plan on providing all of these educational options as a Union City team. No one needs to worry about if these services will be offered to Union City kids - We have you covered!

One final note to please take advantage of the fuel pumps that are raising revenue for our outdoor athletic facilities at the country fair in Union City!
